Let’s look again at the Joseph’s Star. The Joseph’s Star was created by Christina R. Jussaume. It is a non-rhyming 8-line poem with a syllable count of 1/3/5/7/7/5/3/1. Each stanza is center-aligned so that the finished poem is diamond-shaped.
which
one will I
take from here? I have
to decide one way or so
different paths to reach your heart
heart and soul talking
you and me
love
anyway
but whichway do we
go from here?
I don’t know
but we’ve got to try our best
we’ve got to decide

I like the way your first one can go with the image….the idea that at the end of all those paths you might find someone’s heart.
