An Eerie Afternoon – FFfAW – Week of 09-08-2015 and Wordle 168

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Henry David Thoreau

It was raining that day when they’ve decided to climb the rugged hill of Pinatubo. Arm in arm, Pedro and Ricardo shared a cape to protect them from the rain. They have a simple mission and that was to see the ghosts who were haunting the hill. They’ve reached the hut on top of the hill and with a candle, tried to summon the ghosts. It was an eerie afternoon, they tried to be brave and waited. Soon there was an image, a bloody one that made them cringed. They ran as fast as they could. Never again, they said.

It seems humans are drawn to what is terrible and frightening, despite the fact we know that is terrible and frightening. I guess those guys learned their lesson.

They should have stayed and talked to the ghost since they had already made the trip there 🙂 Interesting 🙂

This rings so true for a couple of young lads that I know – I hope they never do anything as frightening. Great story.

I’m not sure they really expected or wanted to see a ghost if that was their reaction when one appeared! An interesting story. 🙂
