The Pitcher – Writing Prompt #129 “NoEnd House Part 8″ and Wordle 221

noend5

We have to walk first before we run
The moon comes at night and then the sun
Eat the right food to give us enough energy
As we drink water from a pitcher in the sea
Practice something before we can preach
I stand in earnest eyes with arms outreach
In my view, there’s always a path or method
Research everything with references cited
Take a deep breath and think before we act
Don’t pepper it with one-liners and witty wisecrack
Don’t pick fights or use weapons if we can choose
Otherwise we’ll end up with some bruise

Whoo-hoo! We used these two prompts to create our work as well!
I love the rhythm and flow of this piece, and there are some wise words contained herein.

Such a wise poem…walking is always better than running in so many ways
