Chicken and Cashew Nuts

prepare all ingredients: cut the chicken, chop garlic, ginger, onions and chillies. Cut the other veg in cubes.

stir fry the ginger, garlic, onion, chillies and chicken

let the chicken go brown, then add oyster sauce and soy sauce, salt and pepper

put the chicken on one side. fry the vegetables and the cashew nuts

stir the chicken in with the veg. cook basmati rice with wild rice

best served with a nice glass of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc). Enjoy!

Fish and Chips – Tasty Thursdays

Our dinner this evening – home-made fish and chip with peas! It was delicious. We also had a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc with it. We bought a filet of fish this morning. Here’s how we did it: cut the fish to cubes, taking the bones out. Prepare three dishes of flour, eggs and bread crumbs. Add salt and pepper and some herbs. First, put them in the flour, then the eggs and finally the bread crumbs. Leave them for a while. Meanwhile, peal and cut the potatoes into strips. Parboil them for 5 minutes, before putting in the chip pan. Fry the fish and boil the peas. Enjoy!
